Coating & PPF questions

Ceramic and graphene coatings are liquid nano-coatings that cure into a thin, hard, glossy layer on top of the clear coat, protecting against UV, chemicals and bird droppings while making washing easier. Paint Protection Film (PPF) is a thick, transparent urethane film that physically absorbs stone chips, scratches and road debris. Many owners combine PPF on high-impact areas with a coating on top for gloss and easy maintenance.

It depends on the product grade, the number of layers and how the vehicle is maintained. Professional ceramic coatings typically last 1 to 5 years and graphene coatings 3 to 7 years. Regular pH-neutral washing and periodic maintenance top-ups extend their life.

Modern premium TPU films are UV-stabilised and designed to resist yellowing. When installed and removed professionally, PPF does not harm factory paint – it preserves it.

Even new cars can carry transport marks, swirls and industrial fallout. A decontamination wash and light machine polish before coating or PPF ensures the protection locks in a flawless finish rather than sealing in defects.

Coatings need time to cure. Generally avoid water contact for the first 24 to 48 hours and avoid shampoo washing for about 7 days. An aftercare guide is shared with every application.
